HIV Management

  • Pharmacists have a major role to play in the treatment of patients with HIV/AIDS and can help improve the capacity of medical providers.  They play an important role in monitoring not only HIV medication refills but also potential interactions and side effects with other prescriptions.  Our AAHIVP certified pharmacists utilize adherence strategies such as Medication Therapy Management to help improve clinical outcomes and disease management.   They provide counseling, therapy review and refill reminders to promote safe and effective medication use and achieve optimal patient outcomes.  Medication Therapy Management is just one of the ways our pharmacists empower your patients to manage their medications effectively.
